Home visits

If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please try to call the surgery before 10.00am. The receptionist will need to take brief details of your problem so this can be passed to the duty doctor who will prioritise your visit. Apart from the fact that home visits take up a lot of the duty doctors’s time, our well equipped health centres are by far the best places to diagnose and treat your illness, so if you are mobile please do try to get to the health centres to be seen. If transport is an issue we are fortunate to have the services of the Sharing Care voluntary service who, in exchange for a small donation will drive a few patients to the surgery for some mid morning appointments, please ask our receptionist / appointments staff for details.
