These are voluntary organisations who (for a small donation) will help transport elderly and infirm patients to and from the Health Centre for mid morning appointments. Contact the Appointments line or Reception for details.
Kerswella Care is a newly formed voluntary patient support service who would like to build up a group of much needed volunteers. Kerswella Care will start by offering afternoon patient transport to and from Kingskerswell surgery with the very kind help of volunteers from Sharing Care in Kingskerswell who already offer a morning patient transport service.
When booking an appointment at the surgery, please do mention that you need transport and the receptionists will ensure you are slotted into one of our designated appointments. Kerswella Care ask for a minimum donation of £2 which helps cover their volunteers’ costs.
